Again, Hi! Im Geevie.

I should have done the introduction five years ago when I started this blog. The thing is, all I wanted then was to have a repository of all the poems I have done. A lot were lost already before I thought of posting them online but I’m happy I was able to save some of them. From being a storage space of all my poems, this blog made a lot of leaps already. I shared more happy memories rather than mostly repressed and dark emotions that I express through my poems.

Before we tarry further let me get back to the main reason for this page, introducing myself.

I am Geevie Lou Navarra Palec. I am known to my family as Inday Lou, to my elementary classmates as Geevie Lou, to my college classmates and work friends as Geevie. When I was in my 6th grade, I wanted to be called Babes but that didnt happen neither did my plan of being called Lou at work.

I am the eldest of a family of six with 3 siblings, two ladies and one gentleman. I wanted to call them girls and boy but too late for that, they have grown fast! Roughly six years ago they were all still going to school; this year another one will be graduating and will soon join the ranks of working family members.

Other than work (as an Engineer), which as of this writing I don’t have, I make accessories and sell them online. I am still learning a lot about the trade but I think I have made something happen already, I have made something out of pursuing my old love. I am also doing RTW online selling. I try but I know I have a lot of things to learn. I am also doing personal shopping for friends and for my friends’ boutique and gift shop called Highway Glam. I also consign accessories and footwear for the shop. I with a friend have been cooking something to offer to the market and I really really hope for it to materialize.

I dont have a boyfriend, never had anything official. NBSB, No Boyfriend Since Birth. I dont see it happening in the immediate future and I really dont know why. I am not a hypocrite, I also want to have somebody special in my life especially now.

I have been cooking a lot nowadays, two to three times in a day. Trying to perfect all the recipe that comes to mind because as per my sister, all my cooking never tasted the same. Matutina told me, earlier this week that she will buy me an electric oven in order for me to learn how to bake. As early as now, I am super excited!

I still want to do a lot of things, dress-making classes, advanced accessories-making classes, culinary school, beauty school and a lot more. I have so many places that I want to visit, local and international. As a child, it was embedded in me that going to the USA should be part of the dream and so it is part of mine. Another place that I really want to visit is Europe. Because of the business that I am trying to enter, I also want to visit China, Bangkok, Malaysia and India.

I plan to work, even for a couple of years only, outside of the Philippines in order for me to save up for my dream home and car. And on top of my head, in order for me to afford some luxuries that I really really want like signature shoes and bags. If ever in my future there is an opportunity for me to live in another country, I am also willing to take it.

That is all that I can think of now but I know that the information I have provided is enough. Other than a personal meeting and spending some time together, another way to further know me is through reading this blog. That I hope you will.
